Mourning the Old Me

Updated: Mar 30

Alright, you saw the title and said, "Yup, that's me!" So, let me tell you why this is you. This is you because you are in a place where the road of the old you has ended. Now, the new you has to emerge. When the new you comes and the old you has been in place for so long, you'll notice these things: mood changes, hobby differences, social communication, and lack of self. These are to name a few, ring a bell? If it does, then you are someone who is mourning the old you.

Mourn: feeling or show of deep sorrow or regret for (someone or their death), typically by following conventions such as the wearing of black clothes.

I was feeling down, and all of a sudden the Lord said, "You're mourning the death of the old you." Have you ever felt like you were crying for no reason? I believe God is taking us through serious pruning, and the previous people we were are dying. Therefore, it is okay to cry.

This video will help you see what is going on in your life, even if you are learning to walk with God!
